Description

Introducing the 4/0 Poor Man’s Whistler, a new product from scientificfly.com in collaboration with Dwayne “Chip” Cromarty. Chip collaborated with Sciflies for years to design, construct, thoroughly test, and produce these outstanding flies. Although tailored for pike, they are also effective for various species such as bass, lake trout, walleye, and musky.

After years of testing and refining on the water by Chip, the outcome is a fly that boasts excellent movement, silhouette, vivid flash, and, crucially, outstanding durability. These flies are crafted on Grip Hooks that are chemically sharpened, size 4/0 21711-NSL, bound with a wire brush, and securely glued to the hook shank to prevent pike teeth from tearing the fly apart.

The extensive selection of both traditional and modern color combinations provides anglers with choices for any lighting or water conditions they encounter. From pure white to solid black and every hue in between, there’s always a pattern that will meet your requirements.
