The Emergence, hosted by Drift Outfitters, is Ontario’s biggest fly tying event of the year! We’ll be joined by 15+ of the finest fly tyers from across Ontario (and beyond) at Leftfield Brewery as they demonstrate their fly tying skills and take your questions on tying. You’ll see tyers demonstrating everything from trout flies, to bass flies, to pike and musky flies, to steelhead flies, and more! We’ll have more details about the epic lineup of tyers coming out over the next few weeks, but in the meantime check out the featured tyers’ stacked resume below!

Through the day we will also have private, advanced tie-along fly tying lessons hosted by headliner presenters Mitchell Roberts and Nick Groves. These classes will be limited in size and require advanced, separate tickets. In these sessions you’ll have access to exclusive instruction from these superstars of Canadian fly tying. Tickets for their sessions will be available soon.
Only 130 tickets are available for this event, you may not know it but there’s a huge fly tying community in Ontario and this event will sell out quickly so grab your tickets now!
Make sure to book the day off, as later in the day we’ll be screening the IF4 (International Fly Fishing Film Festival) also at Leftfield! Separate tickets are required for this event, you can find them HERE!
Parking: There is a very large Green P parking lot right across the street from the venue! Other local parking options are available, please note that you are responsible for your own parking, security of items within your vehicle and any applicable parking fees.
Public Transit: Leftfield Brewery Liberty Village is very accessible by public transit with Exhibition GO Station being just 400 meters away, and the King St streetcar just a couple minutes walk from the venue.
